Well, another soccer season is over. Coach said Brody was the happiest kid out on the field. Never mind he didn’t even kick the ball…and I’m not joking. Brody was too busy out on that field having fun and running here and there, that he didn’t kick that ball once. You’ve gotta love it though.
During Brody’s last game which was last Saturday, he had to go to the restroom. So, as we were walking towards the restrooms, we oversaw little boys playing Tee-ball. Then it hit me….maybe Brody would do better standing in one spot!! Wala – Tee-ball it is next season. Even his Aunt Vicki said he was a pro at hitting that ball already. She had taken him to the baseball fields a couple of weeks ago when he stayed the weekend with her. So, as of now, we will graciously hang up soccer for a while and try something new.
We loved Coach Gabe and Coach Lisa. They were so good with the kids and encouraged each of them to play their best. A big Thank you to both of them!!
Every child loves trophy day, right? Brody sure did. I’m guessing he was happy, uh? He even got his picture posted in their weekly online newsletter. Here’s to another season of sports…what ever it may be.
There’s nothing better in this world than a happy kid. I’ll take a “happy kid” over kicking the ball any day!! We love our sweet Brody E. Taylor!!
