Eating healthy and getting adequate sleep are my top priorities. Without these two, my life would go crashing down. Last year, I started juicing and eating more raw veggies. This year I’d like to top that by eating “mindfully” and incorporating a daily exercise routine. Of course, there’s plenty of mistakes and getting off track to be had, as I’m not perfect and I know I’ll want a big fat juicy hamburger every now and then, but my plan this year and beyond is to keep track of my overall health. Taking a natural probiotic is good for that and is also one of the best remedies to maintain a digestive system balance.
Get Outdoors whenever possible. Instead of getting my car out of the garage and warming it up just to go a block down the street, Brody and I bundle up and head out on foot to the physical therapy’s office. Of course, making it fun too!
Take time to laugh and just do nothing. We can get so stressed out for such small reason sometimes, can’t we? It’s vital that we take time to laugh out loud and just have fun! Enjoy each others’ company and forget about all the small stuff. I read somewhere that probiotics play a role in reducing stress, and can actually minimize depression and anxiety.
Eat Healthy, and don’t forget to include your “green”vegetables.
6 Good reasons to “eat your greens”
- High in calcium
- Loaded with Vit. E
- High in ascorbic acid (Vit. C)
- High in Beta-carotene (broccoli)
- High in fiber (we need at least 25g a day)
- Last but least and all rolled up in one…greens have no calories, low cholesterol and are fat free!
Including a daily probiotic into my life goes along well with my 2014 Word of the year – and that is “Mindful” – I shall do all things mindfully. Eating right and taking care of myself is the perfect goal for me. Insync Probiotic fits in and I couldn’t be happier!! It’s now been 10 days since I took my first caplet and I may say…I do feel great and it’s actually helping control my hunger pains…Yay!
How are you staying healthy during these winter months? Stay warm and stay healthy! 2014 is going to be the year of wellness!!
