Gather around the Christmas tree and share your favorite stories with your children all snuggled up beside you. It’s that special time of year for us all to count our blessings and to enjoy our family close at heart.
Let this year be the year that you endure the most wonderful Christmas of all…and while doing so,why not your capture holiday moments with Hallmark Northpole Gifts? These gifts are truly special and will inspire the whole family!
Nothing kindles my heart more than having all four of my grand children together in one room, especially during the holidays. This year I found the most wonderful gifts of all for all four that I know they will love, and hopefully will hang on their Christmas tree year after year. It’s an ornament called Northpole Find Me, Santa! Snowflake with personalized options. This ornament is special as it lights up when the button is pushed to let Santa know where they can be found, whether at Grandma’s house or theirs. There’s also a wonderful storybook called Once Upon A Northpole CHRISTMAS to go with it. I plan to read the story to the kids while we are all sitting around the Christmas tree drinking hot chocolate and opening presents.
Some of my readers know that I have a unique family situation with my grand kids. After having a tragedy in the family over 4 years ago, we have managed to turn our situation into something positive for the children. With raising Brody (the youngest grandchild) and having his three siblings living about 35 minutes away, we have survived and it’s everything we could hope for. It’s these special Hallmark Northpole gifts that I love giving to them that makes capturing our holiday moments so special. I have posted below a short message that the caregiver (Tabetha – Nana – Mom) wrote just this month on her Facebook page about the 2 older boys. I hope you all will take time to read it as it’s so special to me and warms our hearts tremendously.
Capturing memories with these four is a lot of fun. I try to get my grand kids together as much as possible. Layla, Johnny & Gavin are very busy with homeschooling, dancing, playing the piano, playing t-ball and going to scout meetings. So anytime I can, we get together, even if it’s just for dinner. Brody loves for them to all come over to spend the night. All is good with that, but this Nana is very pooped after a long weekend with all four of them!!
So, while you’re out and about shopping for the kiddos, be sure to head to your local Walmart for all the adorable Northpole gifts. If you haven’t seen them yet, there’s some really sweet toys out this year, such as Rudolph, and the adorable Polar Bear Plush and Book Combo – which is another toy exclusively at Walmart. Be sure to pick up the Once Upon A Northpole Christmas story book + Find Me, Santa! Snowflake only at Walmart. They are sold separately or together for $19.97.
A heartfelt message from Layla’s, Johnny’s, and Gavin’s Nana or Mom – which ever it is, it’s truly special.
Four years ago today, 11/19/10, two little boys moved into our home and hearts. Johnny was 6 and Gavin was 2, we were all basically strangers to each other but that didn’t last long. Now there is no way we could imagine life without them. They are our sons now and forever. And we remind them of this daily. Earlier this year they both decided to start calling us Mom & Dad. They still say Nana and Papaw sometimes, old habits are hard to break. Lol! Whatever name they call us by, they both know we are always going to be there for them. We both feel extremely blessed to be chosen to raise these two wonderful boys! By Tabetha King
