Visiting the Gaylord TEXAN in Grapevine to see ICE during the holidays has become a favorite family tradition of ours. We wouldn’t miss it for the world. The kids always have such a great time there. Sadly, we weren’t able to take the other 3 grand kids this time due to conflicting schedules.
The ICE show was spectacular – a tab bit cold for this Texas family, but bundling up is the fun part for sure. We may not see snow this year, but at least we got to get cold and see ice everywhere.
We enjoyed watching Brody have fun. This is one place we don’t have to tell him twice to “come on”!!! His little cheeks were as red at the North Pole Express!!
|That’s my husband on the right. Don’t know who that is on the left…hehehe!|
We always look forward to sliding down the icy slide. So glad to see my husband having fun doing something other than hunting…oops, I didn’t say that!!!
Well, I couldn’t resist the hat. Best $5 I spent there!! I should have taken a picture of the rabbit candy stick we bought Brody – it was more expensive then my hat!
If you haven’t made it out to the Gaylord TEXAN to see ICE – there’s still time. It’s such a wonderful place for family to have fun and enjoy the holidays. Plus the Gaylord Hotel is decorated up so beautifully and worth the visit alone!!
