Day 5 – Old Faithful and Yellowstone National Park
This is what our drive into the park looked like the whole way there. We stopped a couple of times to see the view and take pictures.
Look right in middle of the photo…you’ll see a Bald Eagle. Everyone…and I mean everyone stopped to get this shot….only to be stopped by Park Rangers. It’s against policy to stop in middle of road for anything!!
So many geysers to see along the path.
A Park Ranger teaching us what geysers are and about Old Faithful. Below, we are getting Brody’s JR Ranger book signed so he can get his Jr Ranger badge.
This girl is going over the workbook with him and asking him questions to make sure he did what was required to get the Jr Ranger badge.
Getting sworn in.
Brody is now a Yellowstone National Park Jr. Ranger!! There’s 3 badges a kid can get. This is the first for his age group.
Day 6 – A down day…so we did crafts and probably swam and walk around.
I found this craft on another blog and made sure I brought all supplies to make it.
They are alligators!!! Mommie and baby too!!
Okay, see Days 7, 8 & 9 next.
