Day 7 – A walk through Ousel Falls Gallatin Gateway – Big Sky
It took roughly 2.5 miles to get to this view. Ousel Falls is surely a sight to behold. I’m so glad we took the time to take the walk. Below is our walk to the Falls. I thought Brody was going to give up a time or two, but daddy and I kept it interesting for him and we did rest a few times.
Cairns (below) were in various places on our trip. I did not know what the significance was of these at that time, I just knew they were cool. I like how people add to them as they go by. Next time I will build one for my first son. Do you Cairn? Do you know what it means? The meaning of a Cairn is here on my blog.
The silence of this place was serene.
Day 8 – Gem Stone Mining and Taking the Sky Lift
All for these precious gems!!
I think we did this activity about 3 times. Brody loved it.
Later that day we took the Sky Lift up to where people snow ski in the winter. The view was breath-taking.
Ended the day hanging out with Bob. He took us to a place where no one goes. I think they were spying on someone!!
Day 9 and our final day at Big Sky, Montana
Had lunch with Bob, then followed him to a piece of land he owns that housed a couple of his horses.
Leaving for the airport. Until next time.
