|Me, Chastity & Autumn|
As most know by now Texas is getting more rain than we need!! This day was no exception, it sprinkled here and there…however, the hard rain kindly held back just for our blogger event. Ha – kidding!! You can tell by my pictures that the weather was questionable. But believe it or not, we were able to experience the ropes course and zipline with no problem. Wow, that was a blast!!
We had lunch first in their beautiful banquet room and listened to the President & CEO talked about Hawaiian Falls and why he opened the parks in the DFW area. He saw a need, so he did!! I have great respect for this man. Leigh Ann Hatchett, Director of Marketing and Cara Blevins spoke about all the things the park(s) have to offer for their guests…and let me tell you there’s a bunch of opportunities to have a party!!!
Events that CAN happen at HF:
- Lectures & Luncheons
- Anniversary Parties
- Corporate Picnics
- Wedding Receptions
- School Parties
- Birthday Parties
And that’s just a short list. Anything you can imagine, they will work with you!!
Isn’t this the biggest ropes course (above) you’ve ever seen? It has 3 Levels and the higher up you go the harder the ropes get. It’s a challenge!!! I am proud to say I did 4 different courses on each level!! Yay me!
Hawaiian Falls at any location is the perfect place this summer for family fun. There are several locations around the DFW area and all are opened now. The one in Roanoke is closest to me, and I promised Brody I would take him this year. I’m just as excited to go.
Hawaiian Falls Locations:
Pflugerville (Water Park, Adventure Park, & Event Center)
White Settlement (Water Park, Adventure Park, & Event Center)
When we were there last week the park wasn’t opened for the public. There were workers all around working diligently to get the park ready for their opening day. It’s so beautiful there..and a huge place indeed. They even have an arcade inside, as well as birthday party rooms. You name it, they have the space available for large groups as well as for small groups.
I had only ziplined one other time, so I knew what to expect. But, I suppose all ziplines are not the same, because this shocked me. It was fun…but scary!!!
If you live any where close to the DFW area (big area) you should check out Hawaiian Falls for your next family gathering or your next business meeting….I promise ya…it will be a fun one!!!
