I enjoyed driving and testing out this 2016 Mazda CX-5 SUV for a week. It’s a great small family SUV with enough leg room for my husband. It provided my son and I a smooth ride from the playground to the grocery store and beyond. Gas mileage was excellent!! All opinions are my own.
The color red has been my favorite color since childhood, yet I’ve never had a red car. Not sure why that is. I think this particular red is beautiful. Mazda calls it Soul Red Metallic. Speaking of metallic, my very first car I owned was a brown metallic color. After I grew out of that 2-door brown metallic car I purchased a Mazda. I wish I could remember the model of the car but I don’t, but what I do remember is it was a small 4-door gray car. It suited me and my new born son very well. That was back in 1980…so you know the look has changed…a lot!! I also remember that Mazda being very reliable.
Life changes and so does Mazda.

The interior is really sharp and the 2-toned colors stand out very well. The back has lots of room for groceries, luggage, you name it, it will fit. For a small SUV, this vehicle has lots of room.
I will admit, it took a little getting use to driving this car. I wasn’t use to the navigation being in the console, and I was hoping for a touch screen so I could navigate a little better, but that was not an option in this vehicle. All in all, it was a very nice ride. My son and I tooled around town doing what we love the best….playing!!!
