If you have ever had a space to call your own, you’ll know exactly how I feel about my new garden room. My ultimate garden room is now finished. Come take a pick inside!
Towards the end of completion of my garden room, I knew I had created a space that I will use for many things, thus making this my ultimate garden room I could only have dreamed about to finally come true. From start to finish, I knew I was getting a nice garden room, but when completed, it occurred to me that l was getting more than just a garden room. I’ve got a place where I can go to meditate, chill, talk to God, be by myself, craft, do workshops – whatever my little heart desires!
Since the beginning of July 2016, I had hopes and dreams for an indoor garden room near my garden. I took pictures of every board and nail that went up, but I wouldn’t dare bore you with those pics. Truthfully, I was just delighted to see the workers out there because there would be weeks on end that I would not see them for one reason or another. After about three months everything came together and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome.
My Ultimate Garden Room
I simply love the view I get from this window. It’s my garden.
The more I think about it, the more I get chills all over. I finally have that space to call my own. It’s not my husband’s and it’s not my son’s…it’s mine…but I do share.
Above is my favorite spot to sit and chill. To think I almost sold that red checked chair because it no longer went with the decor in my home. So glad I put it up in the loft for the time being.
This is another favorite spot for me as I can watch my son play in the backyard while I sit and listen to music.
When you think of a garden room, you might be thinking…potting shed, open space, lots of windows, indoor/outdoor – however, mine is a little bit of it all. Even though the paint is up, the floor is intact, and all my things that I either had or that I bought is in its spot (sort of), there’s still more decorating to do as you can see from the above photo.
Whenever I need/want home decor, I turn to my two favorite stores. That’s The Pottery Barn and Wayfair. I wouldn’t be able to call it my ultimate garden room without a few inspiring decor items from my favorite places. I get so many great deals from Wayfair online that I thought perhaps you might want to shop there too so I’ve added in my affiliate link. I shop there….a lot!!
In the spring, my garden room will be filled with flower pots, dirt, soil, herbs, seeds and more, and I simply can’t wait!
Why yes, I have water and coffee available all the time for whoever comes for a visit.
Oh, I finally get to hang my chandelier in a spot that it’s welcomed. My husband didn’t want it in our bedroom, ugh! I guess it’s too girly for him.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the view of the inside of my garden room, and if you live close, please come by to visit soon. Below are two posts I wrote about the beginnings of my garden room if you would like to read about that.
