When you’re traveling to the Hill Country you never know what you’ll find off the beaten path. I was behind the wheel in this 2018 Toyota 4Runner and never looked back.
When your weekend consists of driving to the hill country, friendship and shopping and just plain fresh air, you go prepared in a vehicle that can handle it all!! Though Dee and I didn’t take the Toyota 4Runner off-road in 2-wheel drive, we did drive off the beaten path a few times.
Disclosure: This 2018 Toyota 4Runner was given to me for one week to drive.
Behind the Wheel – 2018 Toyota 4Runner SUV
Every time I get behind the wheel of a Toyota I feel comfortable, safe and happy!! I drove 5 hrs to the Hill Country with the top opened, music on, and a full weekend of fun on my mind.
This 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium is equipped with many standard equipment and some fun optional equipment that I think any Toyota lover will find exceptional. I always feel comfortable in the driver’s seat of a Toyota (I’ve owned a few), but in this 4Runner, I felt like it was built for me. I loved that I could adjust everything on the seat and the steering wheel to make it a perfect ride.
You never know what you’ll find down a beaten path. Not only did we spot this camel, we came upon a man who was feeding it. He told us he had to leave and gave us the rest of the food he had. Dee and I enjoyed every minute of feeding that camel those cow bars (whatever the name was). On this land were also lots of zebra and other animals. Not sure, but I think it was a secret hideout for these animals.
Super glad I was able to take this 2018 Toyota 4Runner on my weekend to Fredericksburg because I knew I’d find some cool vintage stuff at the Trade Days. This Toyota provided us with a huge back-end for our finds – yippee!!
Notice in the top left photo above – the bottom pulls out, which makes it easier to put your things in. Whether it’s groceries or vintage finds, I think this is probably the best component of this SUV.
