Dino Dig Adventures at Fort Worth Museum Science & History
Since we have a membership at the Museum we at least go once a month, and every time is different and sometimes it’s like we’ve never been before. There’s always something new that we see or perhaps we missed or didn’t have time to do. This is Brody playing in the water at DinoDig. Don’t get too excited about your children getting to play in the water because some workers will not let the kids. This is the first time Brody and all the kids out there were allowed to play in the water. Every other time we’ve gone, it was forbidden. Not sure if it’s because it was almost 100 degrees there today or the person who was in charge let them. But, Brody took full advantage of it!!
My membership includes up to 5 people each visit, so we brought along my niece who is 13. She really had fun and Brody just loves her. She’s from Oklahoma, so this was her first time to the Museum.
This picture is on the 2nd Level in the Cattle Raisers Museum where there’s a lot of history about people that lived before us. This is also next to the Noble Planetarium where they show the Big Bird movie about the sun and his friends. A very cute movie and a must see for the little ones. You’ll also find the Special Exhibitions up there too. Right now they are showing Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I think this is Brody’s first time in this contraption…not exactly sure what it is, but it cost $2 for a bunch of air to blow on them. I suppose it’s worth the fun and laughter you get to see, uh?
These two pictures were taken in the Fort Worth Children’s Museum…where we go every time. Brody is a Road Crew this time…and he was actually trying to get people to stop. Glad he knows his stop sign!! Trains has got to be one of his favorite things to play with…here and at home.
Time at the Museum for us is a way to have fun together and create memories. I don’t always take pictures, nor do I always post about when we go. It’s such a nice place to visit and educational too. Definitely worth $100 a year for the membership.
This right here was the coolest thing ever. There’s something to say about watching 4D Movies while your seat is moving and the wind is blowing. This is Brody’s first time in here. Seems like every time we go, it was never the right time to wait for it to start. The dinosaur towards the end of the short movie was well worth the wait. Another must see! Be sure you wait for it! It’s called the Energy Blast and it’s next to the huge dinosaur exhibit.
Last, but not least, Brody’s FAVORITE thing to do! No bathing suit, no problem!! No towel to dry off with – not a problem. I was only going to let him get his feet wet…as other parents there that day said that too…Oh well…boys will be boys.
And yes, they let you play in the water!! BEST WAY TO COOL OFF IN THE SUMMER!
If you’re out and about in Fort Worth and wondering what to do, the Fort Worth Museum Science and History is the perfect place to take the family. You’ll find lots to do, a Cafe, and don’t forget the OMNI Theater IMAX Dome is there too.
