I’ve never been one to have a great posture. I remember my mom always telling me to “sit up straight, your slouching again”. I’m constantly reminding myself to do just that. Fast-forwarded many years to today, my job consists of setting behind a computer typing all day as a blogger. I have now developed minor arthritis in my neck and shoulders. The minor aches and pains I now have sometimes prevents me from having a good night’s rest.
I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by the maker of Advil® PM and I received a free sample of Advil® PM caplets. All opinions expressed are my own.
How I Get a Good Night’s Rest
Sad to say, I have minor pain everyday and into the night. As most know I raise my grandson which makes me a midlife mom…a midlife mom with aches/pain. I wrote a story a while back about which is better – being an older parent vs being a younger parent. Even though I think being an older parent is better (because I’ve been both), I do have less energy and unfortunately pain associated with getting older and now…minor arthritis. There’s two things I can not give up, and that’s raising my grandson and blogging. I just manage my pain the best I can. Sometimes I go to over-the-counter sleep medication, such as Advil® PM to help me have a better night’s rest.
It’s horrible to wake up in the middle of the night because of sleeping in the wrong position or sleeping on one side too long, which just creates more pain. Sleep is precious to me and if I don’t get enough, I’m a bear the next day. I need at least 9 hours to ensure a good and productive day the next day. Advil® PM keeps aches and pains out of my night and helps me get the healing rest I need.
Advil® PM is specially designed for nighttime pain. With the combined pain relief of Advil® and a non-habit forming sleep aide, Advil® PM is a great choice to turn to for help to fall asleep and stay asleep. Remember to use only as directed
and consult your physicians should you have any questions.
