My Advocare 24-Day Challenge Results Pros and Cons
A before/after picture of me is not necessary. I did not have that much to lose anyway. My main reason for accepting this Advocare 24-Day Challenge was to get more energy and to get back that overall better feeling. I accomplished that and more.Let me first say that I will most definitely continue taking the OmegaPlex (Omega-3 Fatty Acid Dietary Supplement), and that the last stage of the Challenge was my favorite, but the most challenging for me. What’s a challenge without a little challenge!!!
A good thing is…my husband is now drinking SPARK and walking twice a day. We are both excited about our vacation next week and want to feel our best when we go!! YEAH!!
Here are my Pros and Cons of the Challenge:
I have suppressed my appetite
No more snacking when Brody is (he’s 3-1/2 yrs old and eats all the time)
I’m not starving at 4:30 pm and wanting to eat dinner then
I’m staying up later, not going to bed so early
Lost 5 pounds (pounds that I will keep off)
I don’t like taking so many pills in one day (I’m a baby when it comes to taking pills)
Occasional constipation towards the end of Challenge
My final result is this – I have more energy and have gone back to making healthier food choices – these two aspects are HUGE for me.
But most importantly, eating healthy is the key to lifelong wellness. Eat foods in its natural state, and stay away from processed foods, white flour, soda, sugar ( a hard one for me), and partially hydrogenated oils which is found in Jiffy peanut butter. You know…all the good but bad stuff!!
