My husband (Tracy) and I decided to go back to Big Sky Montana again this year for our vacation. We also decided not to take Brody this time. We kind of regretted it once we got there, but did have a fantastic time.
If you ever get the chance to go in the summertime, I would jump on it. The weather is great and the mountains are gorgeous. Not to mention all the outdoor activities that are available to you.
Big Sky Resort – I took the Nature Zip Line course and let me tell you I’m hooked. This is one outdoor activity I’ll continue to do…anywhere anytime. It’s so much fun…and not scary at all. We took about a 10-minute hike before we got to this destination. There were 4 different lines to zip down…FUN FUN FUN!!
My husband surprised me one afternoon with these two gifts for our 14th anniversary. Boy, can he pick ’em!! He does have very good taste in women’s jewelry. All sterling silver!! No skimping here!! Thanks honey!!
One of our favorite restaurants to eat at. Riverhouse Grill – owned and operated by 3 guys from TEXAS – you can tell by the road signs! Sitting out back is the best place to dine as the view will capture your soul!!!
Tracy and I spent more time in downtown Bozeman on this trip. He found some killer tennis shoes on sale at Sheean’s and talked me into buying a pair for me. They weren’t on sale, and it took that poor salesman a bit to convince me that they were one of the best tennis shoe out there. He was right!!
This was our second trip to the ice cream stand. A very popular place in downtown.
PBR RODEO BIG SKY MONTANA
This rodeo comes to Big Sky each year and is a sell out every time. We went last year and again this year. Here’s how they do it in Big Sky!!!
PBR RODEO OPENING OF THE FLAG
Can’t go to Big Sky without visiting Ousel Falls. It’s gorgeous and worth the hike to the falls. It’s not very far, but it is a steep walk. A perfect way to getaway for the day and have a picnic.
We spotted this Elk on our second day there. What a beauty!!
Until next year Big Sky when we will see you again!!
