Ready or not here comes the holiday season. Hopefully you’ve already started your holiday shopping for your kids…but if not there’s still time to attend a Holiday Toyland Shopping Event at Walmart. Great for testing out toys first!!
Shopping for your kids during the holiday season can sometimes be stressful. You’re not sure what to buy, what you can afford, or if they’ll even like what you buy them. I know I’m like that when it comes to buying for my grand kids. SO – may I suggest taking your kids to this event (yes, take them all), let them test the toys out and have them jot down their 3 or 4 favorite toys that they got to test or saw on shelves, and you’ll see the price right then. This is a perfect time for them to start their wish list – so don’t forget to bring pencil and paper. Let older siblings help the little ones that don’t write yet.
Holiday Toyland Shopping Event Dates:
Honestly, I can’t keep talking about this little bird. My son was so happy (and a little surprised) that I said he could have one of these Little Live Pets. I told him I had to review it for the upcoming holidays. He picked out the green bird and was anxious to open it. Still not knowing anything about it, he was SHOCKED that it talked back to him. He didn’t put it down all day AND slept with it that night – cage and all. Best toy so far this year that I’ve reviewed!!!
Little LIVE Pets are Talking Birds. The toy is suitable for ages 4 and up. My son is almost 5 and adores his new little pet -dash- friend.
Little LIVE Pets Features:
- Pet them and they come alive
- Records what you say & then repeats it back to you
- Comes in several colors which makes this gift great for boys and girls
- Includes a cage, a removable swing and a removable food/water dish
- Two birds can fit on swing (single birds are sold separately too)
- Adorable – perfect partner for only child
Don’t forget these birds are also sold separately so the initial bird with cage can have a friend. I believe I buy another one for Brody’s stocking!!
This is a darling video and a must watch! You’ll truly fall in love with this bird!!
Here’s Brody petting his bird for the first time. He named it Lemon. When his daddy got home from being away for over a month, the second thing he did was showed him his new pet and how it talked to him. Brody is an only child so now he has someone to talk too…other than me!!!
