love to support women who are in business for themselves. Once a month
for 12 months, I will be presenting a “Shout Out” on one woman who runs
her own business and who has inspired me in some way.
Owner of Office Candy
I first was introduced to Office Candy through SAS, an online marketing firm that we are both members of. I joined their Office Candy’s Affiliate Program and wrote them a short note about possibly doing a review on one of their items. Laurie was super excited about working with me and was eager to know more about the blogging world and how us bloggers could help her business. We got to know each other online and communicated every now and then. This past Christmas she sent me a lovely Office Candy gift. Her note said “thank you” for working with us this past year. I was surprised and very elated. I keep my cute & sassy notepad in my purse and use it all the time!
Laurie is a sweetheart and is very dedicated to her business. She’s a Professional Organizer by trade and has most definitely made her mark in the office supply industry. She inspires me in so many ways…with her dedication and her friendly smile, I can honestly say she’s a loyal business woman and a friend. I’m thrilled I finally got to meet her last week at BlissDom. She a sweeeet spot set up at BlissDom13 in Grapevine, TX. Oh, and I also want to mention her “right hand” (sometimes left hand) gal, Deborah von Donop. Another awesome sweetheart. These Office Candy Gals rock!
