I am a member of the Everywhere Society and they provided me with this Sponsored post about Macy’s Culinary Council. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed herein are my own.
Macy’s Culinary Council Expert Chef Rick Bayless spiced things up this past Saturday with his Live Holiday Entertaining Cooking Demonstration at Macy’s Department Store located at the North Park Mall in Dallas, TX. Oh what a treat it was. Chef Bayless is known for taking his Mexican cuisine real seriously, so no doubt we received a wonderful cooking demo on his “to die for” Kuri Squash Soup, Blood Orange Margarita and his Guacamole with Toasted Walnuts and Pomegranate. He also passed on to us some very divine tips.

On another note, I knew I would follow him forever when he told us he is a huge supporter of local sustainable farmers markets. He buys produce for his restaurant at his local markets. Throughout his new book, FRONTERA Margaritas, Guacamoles and Snacks” he talks about how to prepare Mexican dishes from produce you can buy from your local farmer’s markets.
You’ll find great tips, 60 recipes that are most requested from customers of his restaurant, hence the name of his book, including his yummy guacamole that he prepared at the demo, and several different ways to enjoy a margarita, including what brands of tequila he recommends in his new book “FRONTERA Margaritas, Guacamoles, and Snacks”.
