Bath salts are easy to make and so enjoyable to have on hand. Bath salts are good for a variety of uses.
- Epsom Salt is known to ease pain and relieve inflammation, making it great to treat sore muscles.
- Dead Sea Salt is comprised of magnesium, potassium, calcium chloride and bromides, which are great for relieving stress, calming the nerves, energize the body and many more benefits.
- Himalayan Pink Salt (naturally pink) is known to cleanse and detoxify the skin, leaving it smoother, softer, and cleaner than ever before.
- Using Essential Oils in your bath is a great way to implement therapeutic and aroma benefits. When using a high-grade EO it doesn’t take many drops to get the full effect. So a small bottle of essential oil goes a long way, just make sure it’s 100% pure.
A Perfect Ultra Relaxing Bath:
1 cup Dead Sea Salt
1 cup Epsom Salt
1/3 cup dried lavender buds
8-10 drops of Lavender essential oil or another high-grade EO.
USE 1/3 – 1/2 CUP IN BATH
Please note: I had a recipe that I mixed up and found some ingreds. to be too much, so I think I have perfected this ultra-relaxing bath with the above. (It’s my favorite). Store in tight glass jar.
Need a Boost? Take an Uplifting Bath
1 cup Himalayan Pink Bath Salt
1-1/2 cups Espom Salt
8 drops of Lemon or Lemongrass Essential Oil (lemon EO is strong – it doesn’t take much)
USE 1/3 CUP IN BATH
Store in tight glass jar.
Both bath salts were made by me using my own creation. I invested in bulk salts to make bath salts for my family and for gifts. Some salts can be found at your local grocery store, Central Market or Sprouts, however, I could not find Dead Sea Salt anywhere, nor could I find Himalayan Pink Salt at a good price. Ordering online was the best deal. Try Saltworks for all your salts.
