As moms, we know what it takes to take care of our families, but do we apply that to ourselves? There’s no better time then now to start taking care of US! Let’s stand together and beat the seasonal flu this year and at the same time help save a life!
I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials on TV about this campaign, or perhaps heard it on the radio or through social media. Walgreens is really striving to make this campaign a success. All children around the world need a chance to live just like we do. Since flu season is just around the corner, perhaps we can contribute to saving a life by getting our immunizations at Walgreens.
“Immunization is one of the world’s biggest public health success stories. Yet, 1 in 5 children around the globe still lack access to the lifesaving immunizations. Coordinated worldwide vaccination efforts have made significant progress, particularly in reducing cases of measles and polio.”
Here’s the two I need to stay healthy for. They depend on me as I know my readers have family that depend on them. Who knows if we will get the flu this year, but Tracy and I both will take precautions by getting a shot. Brody will get his too. We wouldn’t want to miss out on our family vacations such as this one we took to the beautiful mountains in Montana. We have Disney World planned next!
Walgreens Helps the United States
They have donated $10 million flu shots to Americans without health insurance, and to those who could not afford the shot through the Department of Health and Human Services.
