My contribution to this challenge is on Fill up your reusable water bottle
I’m turning greener by the minute here at Mommie…Again. Before long, I’ll be eating totally healthy and living a greener life inside my home. I’m literally just beginning to be serious about greener pastures a head of me. That’s the main reason I wanted to participate in this challenge. I’m also going to the first ever Eco-Wellness Blog Conference called ShiftCon on Oct 2nd in LA, so this ties in with that. I couldn’t be happier to help Green is Universal’s #EcoEats movement.
I can’t tell you how many water bottles are in my car right now. That’s all going to change very quickly. I figure I’ll save money and at the same time help the environment by not buying plastic water bottles anymore…and that is a huge milestone for us as we love the convenience of drinking our daily water from water bottles that we can take on the go and then just throw away.
Okay, so I also went as far as purchasing a Big Berkey Water Filter System for my home just this week. It is a huge investment for us, and it’s going to be worth it in the long run. The Big Berkey literally just arrived on 9/26. I’m excited to start drinking water and making our meals from PURIFIED WATER my own kitchen faucet. I figure a year’s worth of water bottles is about the price of a Big Berkey. Now filling up my reusable water bottle will be a cinch!
So, here’s to filling up a reusable water bottle instead of buying plastic bottles of water!! Who’s with me?
