I’m almost embarrassed that it took me this long to post the rest of our trip and all these beautiful pictures. No excuses. But here’s more.
Day 3 – Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT
A friend of Tracy’s said that we should definitely go here since we like visiting Museums. We have an annual membership to the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History so we got in free. What a fun day. This Museum is definitely a must-see.
Museum of the Rockies features the world’s largest collection of dinosaur fossils and research. You can image that Brody was in awww.
This home was adjacent to the Museum and worth taking a stroll down the path to see the house and all the beautiful flowers and veggies they have planted. There’s also a few volunteers who dress up like the old days to answer any questions anyone may have.
This nice lady asked if Brody wanted to help her picks peas.
Very proud of his crop!!
That evening we visited with a friend of Tracy’s. Frank, his wife, a few horses and their dog, Lucy live way out in Wilsall, MT where there’s no cell phone reception…I mean way out there. Frank is a part-time hunting guide at Vermejo Park Ranch where he and Tracy met a few years back.
Frank and Brody hanging out. Brody looking at the beautiful mountains and scenery with the binoculars Frank gave to him.
Brody and Lucy became friends.
Day 4 – Big Sky Ski Area – Our evening Expedition up to the mountains on The Lone Peak Expedition
While waiting on our ride Brody enjoyed some fun time playing by (and in) a nearby pond.
A beautiful and serene view up in the mountains. This place is so gorgeous. We were in ahhh the whole ride.
A walk around. The tour guide took Brody up on a rocky mountain, and then brought him back down on her back…he got tired. We weren’t about to go up there on those rocks.
I enjoyed the scenery and the quietness of it all.
If you ever get a chance to visit any place in Montana in the summertime, DO IT!!! It’s just gorgeous…now that’s coming from a Texan…where it’s not very pretty here…at least not like the above!!!
Okay, I still have Days 5-9 to post, so stay tuned. In case you got here before you read Days 1 & 2, click here to read
