I’m very grateful to have been invited to be a part of the Fort Worth TNT Road Show. Fort Worth is where I was born, and where I lived until I started grade school. I’ve lived my whole life in Big Texas. The Fort Worth Sheraton Hotel & Spa was the location of the show where we were treated very special!
First, the Influencer team met at the Sheraton bright and early that morning to climb into a few some beautiful Chevrolet vehicles to take us to the General Motors Plant in Arlington where we took a tour of the plant. Bloggers got to drive the vehicles there and back. I rode in a nice red Tahoe and rode back in an white Silverado. Two of my favorite vehicles.
When we returned, we met up with a few more bloggers for the luncheon and Expo. We had a sit down lunch and each blogger was welcomed with the above plate at their seats. As a mom, and a mom blogger, I can sure appreciate the heartfelt notion of the hotel for serving the desserts like this. I felt a sense of warmth, and we all thought it was the sweetest thing that the Sheraton could have done for us. Just like the City of Fort Worth – warm and friendly!!
This is Anna, one of the Sheraton’s chefs showing us how she makes the guacamole that was served to us. It was out-of-this-world delicious. I think I would have been just as happy eating the whole thing for my lunch!!
Here are the amazing Sponsors of the Fort Worth Tech & Travel Road Show/Expo.
Fort Worth Sheraton Hotel and Spa. 1701 Commerce St. 817-335-7000
One of Fort Worth’s largest hotel for guest rooms and meeting space. They’ve just completed a multi-million dollar, property-wide transformation in order to meet the needs of groups, business travelers and weekend leisure guests.
If you’ve never been to Fort Worth, put it on your travel list soon. It’s a cowboy town that’s laid back with a friendly atmosphere. Okay, so there are cowboys there and they do rope and ride, but not everyone is a country cowboy. Fort Worth is upscale and down home all in one…if you can picture that!!!
Have you every driven a Chevrolet? How about the Suburban? Did you know that the Suburban is the longest running nameplate in automotive history. My husband and I both drive GM vehicles.
Thanks to HexBug for giving us all a HexBug toy to take home. I’ve got 3 grand kids that will probably fight over it!! During the show, I had talked with the Director of HexBug about possibly doing an Easter basket full of HexBug toys. It all worked out and if you would like to see my HexBug Easter Basket please visit here.
Fort Worth has a lot to offer, as does the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa. Book your next trip to Texas and come see us in Fort Worth. Happy Trails Ya’ll!!
