I tell ya, that Autumn sure knows how to throw a party. There was a crowd of DFW bloggers straight up 10AM ready to have some good ole fun at the Texas ChristKindl Market.- the best German Market I’ve been too!! Autumn, a blogger herself helped put together a few activities for us to enjoy with our families.
We celebrated the holiday German style with shopping, great food, and lots of fun for everyone. The Markets goes on until Dec. 23, 2015, so you still have time to get out there and enjoy the atmosphere and all the fun activities for the whole family. The location is on the grounds of the Ranger Stadium in Arlington. Check out more information at TXChristkindlmarket.com.
Kellie Raspberry from Kiss FM was there to greet us. She’s way taller than I pictured her to be. We got the day started by making gingerbread houses in the Gingerbread Haus with Kellie and her daughter.
Here’s a few things you can look forward to at the Market.
Daily Features Include:
- Holiday music and entertainment
- Shopping for unique and traditional handcrafted gifts
- Enjoy authentic German food
- Holiday photo opportunities (take an Elfie…not a selfie!!)
- Visit with St. Nick
On Weekends Enjoy Kinder Fun: (additional fees will apply)
- Build a snowman and throw snowballs in the Snow Playground
- Carousel and Pony Rides
- Gingerbread Haus Decorating Workshop (a must!)
- Storytelling and more
We enjoyed great weather, awesome food, and a long line for strudel!! The kids had a blast. I think playing in the snow was their favorite part. It’s always nice when other kids are around for Brody to play with. Amy and Becky, both bloggers have son’s Brody’s age. Boys surely know how to stress out their mothers!!! They play hard!!!
What a sweet picture below. The boys were waiting patiently for Liam to finish his gingerbread house, so they sat and watched a brief Charlie Brown film.

Happy Holidays. Guten Tag!!
