Meal Planning is something I’m not very good at. Cooking is something I’m not very good at either. I figure if I can plan a meal I’d be better at cooking. And…I’m being very serious. I’m truly thankful I have the pleasure to review, use, and write about an awesome Meal Planner by Carrie Elle. All opinions are my own. Speaking serious again, my husband is our family cook and he loves to grocery shop too. I grocery shop also, but he won’t let me cook!! I’m more of a baker and he is not. So, with the said, my husband is leaving town for 3-1/2 months (like he does every year) and I’m stuck once again having to prepare dinner for my son and I. Last year, I experienced with a food delivery service, but that can get expensive, so this year I’m planning meals in advance so I can be prepare our meals at home they way I like them.
See, I don’t, won’t, can’t, wouldn’t think of eating just any Ole meal…it has to be nutritional and it has to be good. It’s hard sometimes for me to come up with a meal that is both healthy and good, and that my son likes too…..and with no repeats. I’d really rather craft or blog to tell you the truth. But my son is getting to the age where he wants good food and not just a sandwich and breakfast for dinner all the time!!
So, here I go planning meals a head of time. Yay me!!
Not only is this meal planner adorable, it’s the perfect tool to help all of us plan our meals a head of time. It comes with colored-coded pages of menus & grocery lists, notes, a place for your favorite websites, even a month at a glance calendar, and more. I’m really excited to start something new.
Meal planning is for everyone, not just for individuals like me that can’t cook or don’t want to – it’s for the organized, it’s for the non-organized, it’s for the cook…and the not-so-much-cook. You get what I mean, right? A meal planner will help all of us manage our meals in an efficient manner. Do you have one?
One of my favorite parts of Carrie’s meal planner is the grocery list section. It’s perforated, so you can tear it out with ease and take it with you to the store and leave the planner at home. Great idea, uh?
