Juices continues to be the thing, and something that makes me feel good. So I’m back juicing – New Juicer + My Veggie Juice Recipe.
Back Juicing – New Juicer + My Veggie Juice Recipe
I wanted to make a juice to where I could use the leftovers to make a quiche. I still don’t like wasting the leftovers. Sorry to say, I did not get around to making a quiche from the leftovers, but I don’t see why I couldn’t the next time. There was so much of it – I wouldn’t have been able to use it all.
Okay, this recipe was really unbearable for me to drink and so I had to add something to it to give it a sweet taste – see below.
My Veggie Juice Recipe (above)
- 1 zucchini
- 1/2 tomato (b/c that’s all I had)
- 1 bell pepper
- small amt parsley
- 1 cup of broccoli florets (packed)
- bunch of spinach
- 1/2 cantaloupe (not pictured; added later)
This juice was much more tolerable with the cantaloupe. Made a whopping 16 oz. – which is way too much for one person (my opinion)
Oh, and check out my new Bella Juicer. I hope this one lasts much longer than the first one. Bella juicers can be bought in store or on Amazon. I’ve provided my affiliate link above for Amazon. Affiliate links provide FGM with commissions should anyone buy from it. Wanted you to know that. No, I won’t get rich off it and no, the price doesn’t go up so Amazon can pay me.
Here’s another juice that I much prefer.
Beet Peach Juice
- 1/2 lemon
- handful parsley
Makes 12 oz.
Note: If you want more of a peachy taste, either use 2 peaches or use only 1/2 the beet. In this juice, beet is all I tasted and I was hoping for more of the peach taste, so I’ll be tweaking my next one.
