With a little help, I put together the best HEXBUG birthday party for my son who turned six years old. I’m thrilled to share my Boy’s HEXBUG Birthday Party. From the below photos, you’ll see why! I was given products to help facilitate this post and for my son’s birthday party. Thanks, HEXBUG!
Boy’s HEXBUG Birthday Party
I think prepping for the party is the hardest part. You get stressed out that certain things won’t work out, and afraid there won’t be enough lighting to take good photos. Well, everything turned out great except for the light for the pictures. Here in my neck of the country it rained and rained and rained. It rained the morning of the party.
There wouldn’t be a HEXBUG party without the necessary drink. FYI – don’t add lime to give it a green color. The kids and I didn’t like the taste. The oranges would have been good all by themselves.
HEXBUG Birthday Cake
I had a local lady make my son this HEXBUG birthday cake and boy did it turn out smashing!! That BUG was spot on!
The cake turned out fantastic. The cake maker did an excellent job copying the bug from a photo of a HEXBUG I sent her. I did everything else myself, including making the cupcakes, all the decorations, made some HEXBUG water, put together the cutest guests bags, made Brody’s hat. Somebody placed the candles in the cake below…not me!!
A pleased boy right here. For more inspiration, check at my HEXBUG Pinterest Board.
HEXBUG Birthday Party Treat Bags
- two pencils with erasers
- one scented marker
- Glow in the Dark HEXBUG
Brody and I made these duck tape treat bags that I found on a blog. All it takes is putting duck tape on both sides of a snack bag. I had the kids write their names on theirs in black permanent marker.
HEXBUG provided a HEXBUG Black Hole and a HEXBUG Landscape, and we bought him a HEXBUG Twister and HEXBUG Battle Ground.
THANK YOU HEXBUG!! Here’s a great selection for awesome HEXBUG party fun and games. For more fun, check out my son’s HEXBUG Easter Basket
