Copycat doTerra DIY Bubble Bath
Taking bubble baths is a very popular routine in our house. All three of us like to take them. Yep, even my husband. So I decided to make my own. It’s so easy to make yourself, and only three ingredients are needed. This bubble bath is so gentle on the skin, even kids with dry (Eczema) skin can use it. I am so excited about how it turned out.
To avoid any additives in essential oils, use only 100% pure essential oil such as doTerra. My doTerra affiliate link is below for you to see all the essential oils they offer.
DIY Bubble Bath
What you need:
- 1 cup unscented pure castile soap (I like Dr. Bronner’s)
- 1/2 cup vegetable glycerin
- 2 tbsp water
- 15 drops of your favorite 100% pure essential oil. (I used doTerra’s Lavender essential oil for a relaxing therapeutic bath.)
Note: I bought the castile soap ($7.99 on sale) and the vegetable glycerin at Sprouts, but castile soap is available almost anywhere now. Just make sure the ingredients are good for you (no additives).
- Combine castile soap, glycerin, and water into a glass bowl.
- Add essential oil one drop at a time.
- Stir until well combined.
- Pour into a glass container.
How to use:
Add 1/2 cup to your warm bath under running water. Don’t expect a lot of bubbles with this recipe, instead enjoy a chemical-free bath!
Free yourself and your family from chemicals and additives, and use this bubble bath forever! It’s so easy to make this copycat doTerra bubble bath. Enjoy!
