The ride to Glen Rose was excellent, lots of greenery and opened spaces. The perfect road trip to Dinosaur World Texas – great family outing for sure!! Dinosaur World Texas hosted my family for the day.
Brody’s anticipation was getting stronger by the minute. He just couldn’t wait to see the dinosaurs. We’d been talking to him about this visit for a little over a week, so no wonder he was excited. Dinosaur World is fantastic and the life-size dinosaurs were very real looking, and I must say, mysterious to me. I just can’t believe such an animal lived long ago…it’s impressive to see it all and read about each one of them as we walked down the path.
Dinosaur World Texas – Great Family Outing
Brody is reading the map of the park and telling us where to go!! Well, there’s only one way to go, and that’s on the path. It took us under an hour to walk the whole thing. At the end of the trail were a cool playground and a fossil digging area.
If you go, bring sunscreen and a hat. The path is very cool, but lots of sun shining through the trees. Oh, and you must spend a $1 on fish food.
We asked Brody what his favorite thing about the park was and he said “feeding the fish.” What!
The below picture is one of my favorite shots I took that day. Brody is wearing his daddy’s hat…straight to the heart on this one!!!
When you go, bring a lunch and snacks – take your time walking and have fun!! It’s worth it. The dinosaurs are worth it all. Great for the whole family.
Wanted to share this email I received from them.
