DIY Clothespin Garland
How to Make a DIY Clothespin Garland
- Mod Podge
- Sponge brush
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Decorative paper
- and pictures!
All you do is cut the paper to the desired size and brush mod podge on the clothespin and the back of the paper. Once you have the paper attached to the clothespin, brush more mod podge on the top of the paper.
This craft could get quite messy…just warning you!
After your clothespin garland dries, get your jute and clip your pictures to the clothespins. Now, it’s time to hang it on the wall. I used thumb tacks to attach mine to the wall.
DIY Closepin Garland
Fun fun fun – older kids would love to do this. You can also use embellishments, such as buttons or jewels to adhere to each clothespin, or ever another one. Be creative with your pictures too. You can use cardstock for a background or designer paper.
Above is my family before Brody (BB – before Brody so we say sometimes) – My husband and I with our four dogs – Reload, Chrissy, SamSam, and Scooter. His, mine, ours, and “found” – we found Scooter. Chrissy had since passed – she was 16 years and 4mos old when she passed. I still miss her. These dogs were/are our family.
Oh, and the paper I used came out of a Mary Engelbreit book that Chrissy chewed the corners off many many years ago. I was going to throw it away until I remembered I could use those pages to make a cute clothespin garland AND many more crafts. This DIY Clothespin Garland ended up being the easiest craft I’ve ever made. Try it.
