I got to thinking about how blogging has changed my life over the past four years. Not knowing a thing about blogging when I first started, I feel I’ve come a long way. I know there’s plenty of other things I could be doing with my life, other than raising Brody of course, but I have found that blogging my life and blogging for others is worth keeping it up. So I’m truly looking forward to what the next year brings me in my blogging world!!
How Blogging Has Changed My Life
I catch myself making sure everything in my house has a place – like I’m going to take a photo of it – what!!
My gift closet has gotten plentiful each year. Yep, with all the products that I’ve reviewed – some I keep some I re-gift to others.
Definitely find myself at the spa more often – must massage my neck and body after being on computer for some time.
Brody and I do get to do more fun things since I get free tickets to such places I may or may not would have gone to otherwise.
My photography skills have sure improved.
I upgraded to an iPhone6 Plus just this week…paid a fortune for it…otherwise, if I didn’t blog and take many pictures as I do, I would have suited for the iPhone5 which would have only been $30 bucks for the upgrade!!
I think more often…wooo that could be scary.
I’ve become more of a giver and a supporter – really I have. There’s so many stories out there that talk about how to be a better person at the same time while helping out less fortune people.
I’ve become a much worse…or better perfectionist.
Learning Something New
I never thought I’d ever want to learn something new again or at least study anything – attending college for years cured me of that….until blogging came along. I have learned so much about how to blog successful by reading what’s available from SoFab. Their tutorials are great!! I do want to take a photographer course at a nearby college or somewhere where I can actually go there and use my iPhone6Plus….if there’s such a course!
I think my marriage has crumbled a bit…but that’s one of my New Year’s Resolution to put it back together with date nights.
I’ve learned that working at home has its ups AND downs. Not as fun as it may seem, especially with a toddler/preschooler at home. Don’t get me wrong here, love having him here with me…but how many interruptions can one have!!!
Bills are higher b/c I work at home!! So I’m always thinking about ways to save money. This could be a good thing.
Reading more about people on social media – what they have – where they’ve been – makes me want to do more so I can do the same things. I don’t, however want to keep up with the Jones’. No no, I’m much smarter than that…but seriously I want to travel more – that’s for sure!!
I have learned so much about various products and things – I definitely feel more knowledgeable about my surroundings.
I’ve met some incredible neat people; such as, bloggers, women who run their own businesses, social media managers, etc – some I’ll always keep in touch with. I’m also doing a series on women who own a business – see here my January 2015 pick.
