There’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve created a healthy lifestyle for yourself by going all-natural. In some ways, it’s effortless to do, in other ways, maybe not at first. Follow my tips on How to Create A Healthy Lifestyle Naturally, and it will set you on the right track, making it easier to go further on your own.
How to Create A Healthy Lifestyle Naturally
You’re here because you are looking to live a healthy lifestyle but maybe not quite sure where to start, right? How about staring out all-natural, thus, not spending too much money at first? Then, you can move on to other ways to live a healthy lifestyle that might cost a little more. Most of the things I’ve listed below are very manageable and will not break the bank.
Natural wellness is a must, especially if you want a clean, healthy body, home, and your surroundings. Medical insurance is going up; doctor visits cost more, medicines cost a lot, co-pays are outrageous, and so on. Not to mention what all is in our food and products these days. With the FDA not doing anything about the GMO’s and the pesticides in our crops, it makes sense for us to try to find our own remedies to a better life. We have to create a healthy lifestyle naturally, so we don’t have to rely on modern medicine all the time.

Eat fruits and vegetables in season
It’s hard to do, and I’m still trying to this. I’ve read many times that we should eat vegetables and fruits in their growing seasons for better nutrition. Think about it. It does make sense to eat foods when they are grown, instead of out of season. That’s when foods are forced to grow with who knows what.
Maintain your naturally healthy weight
Trying to be skinny is out. The older we get, the harder it is to lose weight – period. So why not strive to feel good and look our best? You may need to lose some weight to do that, just make sure you do it for yourself and no one else.
Treat food as if it were your medicine
Food is medicine. Eat the right food and don’t eat junk. Bottom line. I’m not a doctor, so I can’t guarantee anything, BUT IF I WERE – I’d guarantee you will feel better by eating healthy or healthier. Stop going to those fast-food places and stop eating candy bars in the middle of the day.
Take up hiking (hiking is the new yoga)
I think hiking is much easier and more enjoyable than yoga will ever be. You’ve got your entire family to think about and taking up hiking is perfect. Find local hiking trails near you.
Get rid of household toxins
Give your home a detox clean and get rid of the cleaning supplies that are harmful to you and your family.
Use natural alternatives for common OTC drugs
There are so many natural products you can take that are just as good, if not better than over-the-counter medications.
Grow a garden and eat from it all year
If you’ve never had a garden, learn to garden. I’m pretty sure Home Depot has a garden club you can join. You’ll feel awesome knowing the food you put on the table is from your garden. I’m still trying to do this myself.
Make your own all-natural personal care products
Learn to use Essential Oils
Drop by drop, learning to use essential oils is probably the best thing you could do for your healthy lifestyle. If you’ve never used essential oils before, know that 100% pure EO are the best and are the only ones you should use. Yes, they cost more, but you’re getting 100% and not anything else that you’ll find at a drug store. Go to Wholefoods, Central Market, or a health store and simple order doTerra from me! https://www.doterra.com/US/en/site/allnaturalmom
Find healthy, quick dinner recipes
Who wants to spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals? No one. Google healthy quick dinner recipes and see what you find.
Read health and wellness magazines
Some of my favorites healthy magazines to read are Mother Earth Living, my monthly AARP magazine, Mary Janes Farm, and I love mindbodygreen.com.
Visit nature every chance you get
Outdoor sunshine does a body good. If anything, start here first. Go outside and walk around the block. It costs nothing, and if it’s sunny, you’ll get some good ole Vitamin D. Worth it!
