I couldn’t believe it…Brody actually drink some! He also helped me make this one…really helped! Beet juice is such a beautiful color. I thought it was going to stain my counter top, but it wiped clean. I think I perfected this juice to really taste better next time. I’ll share it with you below. Not sure why Brody decided he would try this one…I think it was the color. He liked it a little…but didn’t drink much of it. A little is a great start!
Kid-Friendly Beet Juice
Makes approx. 8oz.
My tip is to make sure you use a LARGE orange and a LARGE apple – I used a green apple, my suggestion is to use a big red apple – they are sweeter.
Beets taste like the ground…seriously – I’ve never even tasted a beet before, but this juice combination worked for me.
Beets are a great source of energy for us due to its carbohydrate count. We need to good carbs to help us keep going. Beets also work to detox the body. So if you are going to do a detox juice, beets are a must.
