I can’t believe I live just under two hours away from this well-known place and yet have never been! Come sneak a peek at my first visit to Magnolia Market Waco, TX.
My First Visit to Magnolia Market Waco, TX
My mom and I made a mad dash to the Magnolia Market before heading to San Antonio a couple of weeks ago. We did, however, allow ourselves plenty of time to take in all the awe of the grounds. After watching the famous couple on their show, Fixer Upper, I can’t believe it’s taking me this long to get here.
We were there right before Valentine’s Day and there was so many flower arrangement displays you wouldn’t believe. I felt like spring had hit Waco way before it was time. The display below is what we saw when we first walked in. We both knew we were in a lot of trouble. Shopping for memorabilia is so fun and is my favorite thing to do when I go to a new place for the first time.
I had my pen and paper in hand and my camera ready for all those things I want to do when I got home. I love taking photos of projects then recreating them at home.
I wanted one of everything I saw. I only spent a little over $100…and that was good for me.
I don’t think I could ever get tired of looking at flowers….fake or real.
When you see your mom this happy, life is good.
You just can’t go to the Magnolia Market and not stand in that long line to get a cupcake, you just can’t!! The ambiance of standing in line and looking around at what Joanne and Chip created is far better than a cupcake…well, to me anyways. So mom and I did what everyone else was doing. We stood in line and waited for that darn cupcake!! SWEEEET!
Oh yes, I did. I had to. Got the t-shirt too!!!
FYI – Magnolia Market is closed on Sundays.
My mom and I had such a great mother/daughter weekend. I can’t wait to go back with her.
