As I go through this journey as a mom again, I’m constantly reminded of what a great job I’m doing raising Brody as my very own. This makes me tremendously happy and very appreciative. Of course, I couldn’t do it without my husband by my side.
As some of you may remember, when my son passed and Brody’s bio mom left his life, we decided we were now his Mommy and Daddy. We raise Brody to this day as his parents. However, we will tell him everything when the right time comes. We have many friends and family who support us on this, and we are thankful. Perhaps, that’s why I’m always told I (and we) are doing such a wonderful job raising Brody.
The Sisterhood of Motherhood: Encouraging Support Not Judgment
Have you ever had someone tell you that you’re a good parent, and it making a huge impact on the way you felt about yourself? I bet it did. I hope we all remember the times that people have supported us in our parenting so that we can instantly support others when that moment arises. Don’t forget to hug someone today and tell them what I great job they are doing raising their kiddos.
